About Ming
Ming concentrates his practice on helping clients navigate the technology industry, including business processes, information technology agreements, cloud computing, multi-sourced environments, SaaS, licensing, risk management, strategic alliances, distribution, resale, and other technology transactions.
Ming served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 100 technology company, where he advised on channel strategies, technology distribution, unified communications, strategic procurement, and the legal implications of new products, technologies and business strategies. Ming has experience in a wide swath of industries, including AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things), technology distribution, unified communications, blockchain and Web3.
Ming also has extensive experience assisting clients in foreign direct investments. Ming served as General Counsel for a closely-held investment firm specializing in direct investments from clients located in China, India, Italy, and elsewhere around the world. He was responsible for reviewing and negotiating agreements related to private placements for foreign investors, underwriting and reviewing deal structures, and advising clients on compliance concerns with federal and state requirements.
Ming is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and Clemson University. He speaks Mandarin and works on pro bono immigration matters and refugee resettlement.
